Default Fuel sending unit/pump replacement

Well I had a leak at my fuel pump to external hose connection that I tried to cheap out on and epoxy the pinhole and it didn't work . So I ended up replacing the whole unit which means dropping the tank, I didn't get any pictures but it is a fairly straight forward job to do. The only thing I suggest you do that helped out a lot this time was to remove the rear upper shackle bolt and jack the jeep away from the axle and springs.

The springs are the biggest obstacle to get around when dropping your tank as the filler neck gets hung up on them or else you are pressed up against the tailpipe and spring on the other side. If you jack the body away from the axles and springs it gives you plenty of room to do this with no help even if the tank is full of gas as mine was(this stuff never happens when it is on empty ).

I just wanted to pass this tidbit of info along for anyone else who might have this project in the near future.
