So Texas was talking about his 327 he had in his CJ7 and how he had been trying to finish it off(first mistake), then he asked me if I had any ideas about it (second mistake) and then he took me up on my offer to help work on it in my spare time if he brought it to my house
(BIG MISTAKE)
.
I then convinced him to ditch the 327, even though Ggg was telling some pretty interesting "In the day" stories about sliding his 327 equipped CJ around corners and such

and I convinced him to install a 4.3 that I had sitting in my garage, and I would give it to him for practically nothing I mean who can refuse that offer right

.
We have been working on it on weekends here is a picture of the 4.3 set into its new home, there is a ton of room to work around this engine, the only headaches is the slave for the World class T5 is right in the way of an exhaust pipe

so I now see headers in his future as well.
Texas is getting a real education on the simple Chevy TBI system in this pic
And they call it a Painless wiring harness

I told Texas if we wanted to get it done right we really needed to get our heads into this project

My big mistake
We will hit it again in a couple of weeks but for now Texas went home with a laundry list of things to buy.
