I have stacks of catalogs and old JP mag. under my night stand.

My wife and I have an aggrement, I don't bring jeep parts into the house and she dosn't bring house stuff in to the garage.

My ex-wife once brought an old flower pot in to the garage to "keep it there"
I took an good used starter in the kitchen to "keep it there".
She never got the point, thus, ex-wife!

What about other sections of the house?

Missouri had the entire interior of the TJ (including dashboard) in the living room at one point when he was installing the roll cage.

And....I seem to recall Swap telling me about keeping stuff in the Dining Room.

Does that count?
