Since I been running around with my head cut off. I need to get out. Sorry TJ would like to go to Rockport :( but $$ on the low side and this will be Max's first trip so a day run would be great. I am game for eather Sat. or Sunday.

I would be up for the badlands. Sunday would be good for me I should have the weekend after off (1st and 2nd)not sure yet (we are 24x7 ) but if erveryone wants to go on Sat I can take the day off.

I actually had to "AHEIM" my kids, one day after my sons soccer game we were parked next to one of his buddys whose dad was driving an SUV. Both my kids were hammering their freind on how much better the TJ was than the guys SUV and how we take in in real mud not just the water puddles on the streets and on and on. I had to pull in the reins to hush them up. Later I explained to them that it's ot nice to put other peoples rides down, then I gave them a high 5 for the Jeepin attitude. :p

I place my vote for Saturday. The car wash at the Auto Skills center is closed on Monday and Tuesday, so if I don't go on Sunday I can't wash my jeep until wednesday after work. We are talking about new years weekend right?

Sounds like rear has more play and now on decell I get a noticable clunk. Haven't actually climbed under yet been too busy and afraid of what I might find I did poke around the rear shocks and track bar everything felt tight but like I said before have not poked around yet. Ther noise could be from farther un the drive train but don't know yet.

Saturday is best for me. I am bringing Lauren with me and a buddy and his son are going to drive up. He is going to tow the XJ for me :D and bring his sons motorcycle so they can play in the dunes for a little while.

Had a great time Dennis and Eddie (MIchelle,Max) Kellie had a great time driving for the first time, she cant wait till her Jeep is done.

1/1 new years day run We ended up with 3 of us running Eddie, Myself and Dennis. I meet up with eddie and we drove down together denis and czar went down fri, we meet Dennis for breakfeast and learned czar wouldn't be joining us .we also picked up a solo about 2 hrs into our run. we ran Green, white and some of blue. Eddie brought Max and Michelle. Kellie Drove My Jeep with the girls (Aubrey & Delaney) it was her first time as driver she did real good her first time after she eased up on the skinny pedal She came down the first 2 climbs really really fast. there is a good story but I will leave it up to Eddie if he wants to tell it ;) . All in all it was a good day no one broke. everyone had a good time. :D

sorry no pics I knew I was forgetting something as I was leaving the house but at 3:30 am it is easy to forget things.

Who me? :p The day was cold, rainy and very cloudy. We started out on green trail - broke my offroad flag 5 minutes into the trail - had to bungee
cord it to the front bumper. I was leading and Den (who did not look too
well) was my gunner. In the morning we ran green. We went thru Rock and a
hard place, Sniper pit down into white hit attention getter did not do open
diff hill (too wet) so down in the creek we went, up and pass the tube to
the other end and jump out before Tight rope. About then Den had as much as he could handle so he left for the day. So we continued on to the front of
green this time we went down into green to mess around a little and came
out at the sand dune. This is where things got fun. After being on top of
one hill I decide that we would go down one and come right up the next one
as I started to head up the 2nd hill I could not make it as I was backing
up the jeep got sucked in to the tree brush and very soft sand. The jeep
was leaning pass the 30 degree mark :eek: . Michelle who was in the back seat at this time was not too happy. That is when I made the comment "we are in a bad situation" I turn on the front lock and buried the jeep down to the transfer case skid which leveled the jeep right up so Max and Michelle
could get out. So even with all the lockers and the winch on board they were
totally useless! Out came the shovel and we started to dig the jeep out.
Max and Neuman where bringing rocks to get the jeep up on top of the sand
(those pro comp x-terrains love to dig). I could not go up so I decided
that I would go to the right and that's when I put myself between another
tree so I could not go forward or reverse. About this time Skinney Peddle
(Kellie's trail name ) brought down Neuman's jeep. we where going to use his
winch and pull me around. That was when Dug and his crew showed up (Bonez,Joez and Intrepidxj). Dug helped to get me turned around and then we where out. Took us maybe 20 min to get the jeep unstuck. After that we headed down blue trail and ran white backwards from Attention getter to Spring twister about then it was around 3 in the afternoon the kids have had it (so had the adults). We aired back up Max got his Badlands T-shirt and then we headed to Kentland for fuel for the jeeps and fuel for us at McDonalds. The kids got to play in the playland. And we got to rest a little before heading home. So all in all it was not a bad day. Joez did take a Pic of my jeep in the turn around position. And Max's favorite part of the day was
when we got stuck.
