On Saturday, August 6, 2005, I will ride my bike (bicycle) 190 miles in the 9th annual CowaLUNGa Bike Tour. I will join hundreds of others in raising funds for the American Lung Association as we aim to reduce the pain and suffering caused by lung diseases. You may think that it's crazy to ride 190 miles, but I am doing so because I am able. I can breathe freely, and there are many people who are not as lucky as I.

I am writing this because I would like your support. Please visit my web page to make a donation or you mail a check to the American Lung Association (ALA) with the online donation form available on my web page. Please give what you are able; every dollar makes a difference. Your pledge to the ALA will sustain their commitment to the prevention of all lung diseases including lung cancer, emphysema and asthma.

Thanks for your support as I challenge myself not only in participating in the CowaLUNGa Bike Tour, but also by raising money for this very worthy cause.

In my younger days I used too bike 25 mi. everyday 5 times a week..so I know how sore the buttocks can get...but with time and miles it will go away...just remember to load up on carbs the night before your ride...so you can store the energy for your muscles to burn
