More winter wheeling anybody

I have some time off coming up from Dec25-Jan7.
Just wondering if anybody is up for another winter wheeling outing.

I know the Cliffs is having an event on new years day, so i assume they will be crowded. Not what I'm looking for, so maybe another place on that day or just another day all together.

Events like the New Year's run at the Cliff's can be hit or miss with regards to turn-out. If I recall, the Black Friday runs some years were busy and sometimes we were the only one's there. I think it would be a rare occasion that we have the part all to ourselves again like we did a couple weeks ago.

Either way, I can't do it New Year's weekend - I am entertaining family at the homestead then. :soap:

Gregg - I know you said you were open through the 7th. Does that mean you are not available the weekend 8th & 9th? I might be available that weekend, but would have to check with the BOSS :blush2:

Don't let me stand in the way of you guys going out on New Years weekend however, I rarely can go anywhere during the holidays anyways.

To be perfectly honest, I'd rather stick close to home with the cruddy weather, so the Cliff's gets my vote. When it warms up, I don't mind traveling a bit further.

I wish i could, but been very bussy, since i missed the last run on account of being at the hospital with chris's mom due to a serious fall. She has more or less moved in with us for most of the week, and then back home for a day or so with one of us. She's 93 and don't want to feel that she is putting us out! But if i make this one I will being wheeling my baby again, took alittle to rebuild the tranny, haven't done an automatic in many, many, many will you get it, years. I most likely won't know till the very last minute!

Well, I'm sure to be going but I may be more picture and video taking than wheelin. I just bought a GC and have no skid plates. Don't know when i will have them either, but.... I am coming down and will hit all the bypasses:re2:

Hopefully we'll get cold temperatures. Anything below 0 degrees would be ideal. No need to mess with mud. Haven't wheeled for at least 4 months. I am excited.

The GC is lifted and has new Cooper sst's on it, but no underside protection. Am watching ebay to see what I can come up with.

I would like to express a big Thank you to everyone who made it out to the Cliffs. Again the park was not busy and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. In some places it was very icy under the snow which made even simple lines challenging. It was very nice to see some old friends and meet some new ones. I had a great time and look forward to going again.

Had a great time too guys. Unfortunately we only had a couple folks taking pictures - Greg, Jason, and Lukas. Sounds like Lukas' pics may not be so hot. I know Greg was burning up the memory stick though!

I was so sore the next day. If you recall, I spent much time on my back side from falling on the ice.
