I am looking for some TJ front sway bar disconnects. The TJ has a 2" BB. What brand disconnects do you recommend, and why?
Thanks

I have JKS Quicker Disconnects. They seem to work pretty good and never had a problems aligning and reconnecting them after a hard days wheeling as long as you are on level ground. I have see other styles where the disconnect tube splits in half and those are a major pain in the ars to realign and reconnect. I would steer away from those.

It is not for my Jeep, it's for a friend's Jeep that is a DD not off road much at all. Knowing him he will want the anti sway bar functioning.

I plan on getting these: http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xtras_1142.html

No idea if they work well, but the price is right.

I am plannig to replace my disconnects since I managed to snap one of the lower bolts while wheeling in Pittsfield.

I'm leaning towards the jks quicker disconnects. they look a bit more flexible for reconnecting which has always been a major pain with the ones I have now.

not as expensive as some but more expensive than others.

It looks like these have some kind of flex built into them (a piston or something?) to make them easier to reconnect. Am I looking at those right?

My friend ended up getting the JKS quicker disconnects, he is very happy with them and they seem to disconnect and connect easily. He got them at alljeep
http://www.alljeep.com/oscommerce/
For about $125 which is the cheapest I found.

I have the JKS Quicker Disconnects on my Jeep and I like them. They don't have a piston at all just flex joints at either end. You may be seeing the adjuster bolt which allows you to make them longer or shorter depending on your lift. They are easy to disconnect and reconnect as long as you are on level ground.
