Body Lift Questions

Hey All,

while I can make no progress on my axles, thought I would get the body lift done.

I went around the Scrambler removing the oldbody mounts. Many of them came out cleanly. Some of them snapped off, and some of them are spinning the backing nut. One of them took a big chunk of rusty body out.

So, what do I do about the ones that are spinning?

What do I do about the bolts that broke?

Your fun begins, with what I know about broke body mount bolts,past experience FS Blazer, you got to drill out the broken ones and tap. The spinning ones, must mean the nut sert has broken loose. Can you find anything inside the Jeep through the flooring? I think I would have to see that before proceeding.

Cut the floor to get to the nut.

Cut the pocket the nut lives in from the side and use a wrench.

Try and weld the nut to the tub from around the bolt.
