Have you ever heard someone be called the answer man, well I am the question man.
So, the brake lines that run from the master cylinder are metal lines that are smooth on the outside. The line that runs to the rear goes to a splitter and then the new braided line, then they go out to the wheel cylinders (I wish I was that far along).
Question, why do the steel lines that go from the splitter in the rear, to the wheel cylinders have that line around them. Its like wrapped in a steel wire. What does it do, is it needed on the replacement?
thanks
