My first mod was the lift, 4" RC short arm with t-case drop. still rolling on stock 30's. and I had vibes. pretty bad vibes. finally got the 33's and vibes were a bit better (?), so I added the BL/MML mod. it was better and allowed me to raise the t-case skid up .5-.75 inches or so. after the Summer bash run the vibes got to the point where I couldn't stand it. SO I decided to go with the SYE/DS mod, and boy am I glad I did. I figured the mod would help but I had no idea that the ride before and after would be like going from a go-cart to a BMW. UNREAL.

thanks,

I was pretty scared/nervous about ripping the t-case open. I almost didn't, but am glad I did. not too difficult with the right tools. I still can't believe I did it all myself

tell me about it. I was sweating bullets when I started it up and slowly released the clutch. but to my surprise, she started rolling along. it even shifts into/out of 4lo/2hi/4hi without any problems that I can tell at this point.

The odd thing is. it seems to shift much smoother. especially in/out of 2nd. I would guess the harsh shifting was due to the trans being lowered making it more difficult to engage/disengage..... :dunno:

I was pretty freaked out when I ripped my T-case apart to do the same thing. My wife about freaked too...she opened the gargage door and looked at me like I was a mad scientist and just shook her head. It was kinda fun...but like Randy said...its pretty simple inside.
