crystal lake 4 wheel fest

hi there. i don't know how much you guys have heard about this but it's going on october 6th at the main beach park in Crystal Lake, IL. (you can just google map the beach for directions) i imagine that many of you live around/near Crystal Lake and might be interested. i don't know what time the event is though... i'll find out...

i just happened upon this event on the windy city sports webpage and emailed the contact that was listed for more information. there isn't any website or any information for that matter available on the web about the event. seems sketchy.

i guess it will just be showing of your trucks with food and vendors. i assume there would be some sort of obstacle course or something to drive over/on. if i can figure out how to insert a link... registraion (https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=222VGK7&Source=Calendar29) looks like $25 per truck.

i think i'll be going but my truck is still inoperable so i'll ride my bicycle. spread the word about the event, i think it can be cool if there's a bunch of people and trucks.

Joe Davison over on Terra Jeep Club puts on this event with the help of the Crystal Lake Park District (he works for them). This is the 2nd year, I believe. Nothing sketchy at all, as Joe is a stand up guy.
